About Sydney
Sydney has one of the world's great settings — a working harbour, ocean beaches within 30 minutes of the CBD, and enough sunshine to make the outdoors the default option. The Opera House is more striking in person than in photographs. Bondi is worth it before 10am; after that the coastal walk to Coogee is the better option anyway. The city's food scene runs deep — Vietnamese in Cabramatta, yum cha in Haymarket, fresh oysters at the fish markets on Friday morning. Give it at least five days; two beaches, three ferries, and one very long lunch is a reasonable minimum.
